BREEDING GOALS

My primary goal is to preserve the Traditional, Old-Fashioned, Applehead style Siamese cat for current and future generations of Siamese cat lovers. I strive to breed the Old-Style,Traditional Applehead type Siamese cat,ie the stockier, more substantial bodied Siamese (as opposed to the bat eared emaciated looking wedgehead Siamese), with excellent health and temperaments, frisky, playful natures, good sized bone, high contrast markings/points, and good conformation (especially no crossed eyes or kinked tails).

To sum up, I always try to breed Siamese cats which have:

1. Excellent health

2. Affectionate, playful temperaments

3. High intelligence

4. "Apple" heads

5. Large bones

6. High contrast markings/points

I really would like to reproduce the old style cat that Haley Mills had in That Darn Cat, to sum up my breeding program.

I have had Siamese cats since I was a child.  They never failed to amuse me with their antics. They are affectionate, loyal, extremely smart, and IMHO, the most beautiful domestic feline in the world. As a child, when kids were mean at school, I would come home and my Siamese always seemed to know when I was unhappy and they would lie next to me in bed, either on my pillow, next to me or under the covers. And when I was sick, my Siamese had an uncanny ability to sense when I needed a friend or felt bad.

I want to continue to breed the old style Siamese that I had as a child, as I do not believe the current show/wedge heads are authentic representatives of the Siamese as originally  exported from Siam/Thailand, nor do they appear to  have the health or longevity of the Traditional Applehead and the Classic Siamese.
